Not too sure about this one Can anyone break this down please. From the comments above I would break it down as: "a mi" is "as for me", which isn't that necessary for the sentence. And finally "mi carrera" is simply "my career". Good breakdown. I'd like to add that saying "a mi" changes the meaning slightly, putting more emphasis on your career, to the point where it implies a comparison to other careers that would be mentioned or understood through the context of the conversation. Isn't this a bit of reverse engineering though?
